The Meaning of 666 in the Bible – The Unholy Trinity
by Sabrina Dawkins
Satan copies God: “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isaiah 14:14). So the devil’s version of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—is the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. It is no coincidence that Satan’s trinity is listed in that order and each producing three evil spirits, to mimic God’s Trinity, in Revelation 16:13: “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.” In Matthew 28:18-19 Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” The dragon mimics God, with the beast taking the place of the son of God. And the false prophet is supposed to represent the Holy Spirit.
On the sixth day God created the beasts and man (Genesis 1:25-26). And in Ecclesiastes 3:18 men are described as beasts who don’t know that they are beasts: “I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.” Without guidance and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we are but beasts.
Satan and his unclean spirits rule over and inside of those who are shown to be beasts. Thus they are sons of Satan, as indicated in John 8:44: “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” And because Satan “is a liar and the father of it” (John 8:44), the information the beast sons of Satan are fed will be false information, hence the false prophet as their guide. And the spirits that dwell in them will be evil spirits.
Just as the Holy Spirit is with the sons of God, the unclean spirits and false information are with the sons of Satan, and they are revealed to be beasts, created on day six with the other beasts. And Satan can easily outsmart the beasts because, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made” (Genesis 3:1). Plus, he is very old and therefore has age and experience over the beasts he rules over: “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years” (Revelation 20:2). It is written, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9). So Satan succeeds in deceiving all the beasts under his rule. In fact, he is so successful that “for there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:24).
The dragon as the father—6; the beast as the son—6; and the spirit of false prophecy—6 is the glorification of man as a beast under the rule of Satan, his unholy trinity.
