I woke up one day
and leprous skin
was covered
by a black garment.
You’ve concealed my identity
for this long
and held me in your bosom.
But now your children
are in trouble down here
and need some encouragement.
So I thought I’d tell them
what you did for me
to showcase the workings of the Holy Spirit.
And not only that,
I became a “Soldier of Love.”
And you sent an angel
when I said,
“Please Send Me Someone to Love.”
