They were Angels and Men at the Same Time: God Visits Abraham – Genesis Chapter 18
by Sabrina Dawkins

God knows Abraham. And here he confirms the blessings that will be bestowed on Abraham are due to Abraham’s actions and character. God knows the past, present, and future, and in verse 19 he says that Abraham will be the father who teaches his children the ways of God. In other words, Abraham is not randomly chosen. He’s not even just a decent guy who is polite and nice, he is a man who has faith in God and will instruct his children to follow God.

In this chapter, God and two angels visit Abraham materialized as three men. Genesis 19:1 confirms that the two men were angels. I’ve heard the argument that angels could not mate with human women because they are spirits and therefore the Genesis 6:2 “sons of God” must be referring to the sons of Seth. But in Genesis 4:26, “To Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: Then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.” So Seth’s sons were referred to as men. But Adam was a son of God because he was directly created by God (Luke 3:38). Christ, too, was the Son of God because he was directly created by God (Mark 1:1; Matthew 1:18). He was also the Son of man because he was born through Mary (Luke 9:22).

However, Satan was also created directly by God (Ezekiel 28:13-15). So we find out that in order to keep that status as a son of God, one must earn it as an end state and not just as a beginning state: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13). And even angels will have to incarnate on earth in forgetfulness in order to prove whom they belong to, as indicated by the ladder reaching to heaven that Jacob, in a dream, saw angels ascending and descending on (Genesis 28:12). Satan failed the test, which is why in Job 1:6 he is not considered a son of God with the other angels. And because God knows the past, present, and future, he knows whose thoughts and behavior in the future will make them worthy of becoming sons of God so that even in the present and even before they live out what God already knows they will do, they are sons of God and angels in heaven simultaneously: “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). The devil also has angels (Revelation 12:7).

Here we see that angels have the ability to transform into materialized men and do the things that humans are able to do, such as eat and drink. They didn’t ask for food, but they allowed Abraham, who was very hospitable, to give them food.

Sarah laughed when she heard the man (God) tell Abraham that she would have a son because she was past childbearing age, which indicates that her later conception was of God.

And the two angels who appeared as men headed towards Sodom, but God stayed with Abraham a little longer. He decided to tell Abraham, whom he knew, what would happen to Sodom and Gomorrah rather than hide it from him.

Abraham knew that Lot, his nephew, was in Sodom (Genesis 14:12-13). But he never asked God to save Lot. Instead, he asked God to save the righteous.

  1. Hi.
I just came across your dream videos. You are on the right track, I know because my knowledge rhymes with yours.
I was once a very studious and faithful Christian. I am still faithful to the Creator of All, yet it was through His urging I released everything to walk with Him.
There is too much to say. I am overjoyed at your progress.
Consider reincarnation. We ALL are el. I have seen our limitation, and been guided beyond them – touched the lives of others as Guardian, as Savior, as Spirit Escort to the Halls of reincarnation.
It is a choice we each are given to run the race and suffer flesh in vulnerability and imperfection as the test of our perfection.
The ancient Gnostics believed as you and I, that the flesh suffers forgetfulness. But remember, that forgetfulness speaks to the eventual REMEMBRANCE of who we are.
When Jesus said “…knock and the door shall be opened…” I cannot stress how very true. He literally waits to be sought in Truth. Once you know who Man is, who you are, how the connection works… the search for spiritual purpose is over, you have found it. You have truly found your place with God. Christianity is just the beginning… it gets much, much bigger. Immeasurable …

I have lived over 40 years with dreams and visions, i have prophesied for many years, events I glimpsed and foretold to my husband. I quit helping dreamers because most approach from the wrong disposition. Lately, my husband has urged me to help. I was considering his words and I found your video from 2012. My advice, be fearless.

    Truly yours,
    Nobody

    1. Christianity is the beginning and the end. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” – Revelation 22:13 And when you move away from the Bible, you start believing doctrines of devils. I have created biblically based blog posts that show that reincarnation is in the Bible. Christ himself said that John the Baptist was Elijah. And the angels ascending and descending on the ladder between earth and heaven seen by Jacob represented angels reincarnating on earth. Examples of angels are David (1 Samuel 29:9; 2 Samuel 14:20) and Stephen (Acts 6:15).
