Whites Defeat You by Erasing Your History

You didn’t know the Israelites were black
and so were the ancient Egyptian slave masters.
Whites hid your history
and stole your identity
so you would think people of African ancestry
accomplished nothing,
to make you feel
low
low
low
to the ground,
too low to fight back.
Now they teach your children in their schools for “free”
how to be good pets
in the field or the house,
toting around
the lies of an enemy:
the benevolent serpent,
the subtlest beast.
